Jeremiah has served overseas and at home, defending our country, bringing criminals to justice, and helping those who need it most. He has fought to protect and will continue to fight to protect Logan County and Payne County, our state, our nation, and our values.

Jeremiah will have absolutely zero tolerance for domestic violence, crimes against the elderly, or crimes against children. None. Period. Jeremiah will have the guts to go forth expeditiously, file the criminal charges, try these cases in open court before a jury, and aggressively prosecute these horrific crimes, and all violent offenders, to the absolute fullest extent of the law. Jeremiah will have the steadfast courage to seek the death penalty for those who murder innocent people in cold blood. Jeremiah will make sure the District Attorney’s Office serves as the unwavering voice of the victims of crime.

Across the country, law enforcement has been at odds with the extreme far left. Over the years, Jeremiah has built a strong relationship with our local law enforcement officers to help ensure they have the legal advice and support they need so they can do the job they are called to do: Protect the public and then go home safely to their families. Jeremiah will stand with our heroes in blue and defend law and order.

As a prosecutor who has successfully prosecuted drug cases, Jeremiah knows the damage narcotics and other dangerous substances have caused our communities and our families. He will zealously pursue and imprison fentanyl dealers and traffickers and others who exploit those who are addicted.

Fight Those Who Seek Early Release of Violent Offenders from Prison

Jeremiah has appeared many times in his career in front of the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board, watching in horror and anger as they would vote to early release violent offenders from the penitentiary. Jeremiah will fight such radical parole initiatives every step of the way, using every tool available to him to protect the public from this nonsense and stop this insanity that puts innocent lives at risk. Furthermore, Jeremiah has originated the idea and will start an initiative to amend the Oklahoma Constitution to replace the pardon parole board with a jury system so that regular Oklahoma citizens can make the decision whether or not to parole an offender.

Stand Against Cartels and Foreign Landowners

As our communities’ chief law enforcement officer, Jeremiah will take all the lawful actions available to him locally to help enforce immigration laws, aggressively fight the distribution of illegal substances brought into our country by the cartels, and pursue foreign land owners illegally growing drugs in our counties.

Protect Liberty and Defend Conservative Values

Jeremiah, a born-again Christian, and will defend our Judeo-Christian values, particularly the right to life. Jeremiah will defend our personal freedoms, particularly the Second Amendment.

Jeremiah personally knows the plight of the farmer and rancher, and will aggressively defend our farmers and ranchers and their private property from agriculture crimes, environmental extremists, and animal rights activists seeking to upend our way of life. Jeremiah will fight against those seeking to use eminent domain to procure our lands for "green" energy purposes. Jeremiah will aggressively prosecute property crime, including equipment and livestock theft, which erodes the very livelihood of rural Oklahoma.

Promote Transparency, and Root Out Waste, Fraud, and Abuse

Jeremiah is a believer that in order to have a government of and for the people, there must be full transparency. Jeremiah will make sure that open meetings and open records laws are fully adhered to, and will fight to ensure full video and audio cameras are put into the courtroom for the public’s viewing. As a public servant, Jeremiah will prevent waste and ensure efficient use of the taxpayer’s dollars. As District Attorney, Jeremiah will prosecute those who embezzle, steal, or otherwise exploit the taxpayer for their own personal gain, and imprison those in government who betray the public trust.

Combine Retributive and Rehabilitative Justice

Having served as the drug court attorney and member of the Payne and Logan County Drug Court Board of Directors, Jeremiah has personally seen, through God’s grace, those who have been addicted become free from drugs and made whole again. It is Jeremiah’s heart cry to bring together community leaders to create a local nonprofit long-term inpatient treatment center for those who are addicted in Logan County and Payne County and are truly crying out for help and not just trying to avoid punishment in order to continue along the wrong path. Further, Jeremiah will continue his previous work with drug court to create a family drug court, a mental health court, and a veterans court. Jeremiah will use the position and bully pulpit of the district attorney to start the processes to make this all a reality.
