ABOUT Jeremiah

Jeremiah is a sixth generation Oklahoman, with his great, great, great grandfather having settled in Oklahoma Territory during the Oklahoma Land Run. Jeremiah grew up on his family-owned farm, where he learned the values of hard work and perseverance. Jeremiah was an active member of 4-H and FFA in middle school and high school, participating in cattle showing, cattle grading, livestock judging, land judging, public speaking, and parliamentary procedure.

Jeremiah was 18 years old when our country was attacked by terrorists on September 11, 2001. The following week, Jeremiah enlisted in the United States Air Force in response to our Nation’s call to arms. Jeremiah has deployed to the Middle East on multiple occasions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, serving and supporting the missions through air and ground intelligence. He continues to serve his fellow military veterans in this capacity, representing individual veterans and veterans groups pro bono in his capacity as a licensed attorney.

Jeremiah has expressed a life-long passion for our educators who invest in the next generation. He received his bachelors degree in Economics with honors and bachelors degree in Finance with honors from Oklahoma State University, received his masters degree in Accounting with honors from Kansas State University, received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma, and his Doctorate of Education ABD from Oklahoma State University. Prior to law school, Jeremiah received his teaching license and served as a junior high and high school teacher, sponsor, and coach for five years, where he taught economics, government, history, geography, business, and accounting.

After completing law school, Jeremiah sought justice for victims of crime as a criminal prosecutor in the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, and in the Logan and Payne County District Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor, Jeremiah successfully prosecuted felony drug, person, property, and white collar crimes, in addition to serving as the appointed county civil attorney, representing county elected officials, boards, and agencies as is the duty of the District Attorney’s Office.

Jeremiah currently runs a private law practice in Stillwater. When not in the courtroom, Jeremiah runs a commercial Angus cow-calf operation. Jeremiah has and continues to serve on multiple not-for-profit boards of directors in the local community.

Jeremiah is married to his wife Alicia who is a mixed animal veterinarian, practicing both small animal and cattle veterinary medicine. They are blessed with two young children. Jeremiah and his family are active members of the Hosanna Assembly of God where Jeremiah serves on the church board of directors.
